WEAG members have been deliberately chosen to represent a diverse range of views, backgrounds and experiences.
Our engagement will prioritise the experience of people interacting with the welfare system, but will be extended through various mechanisms. For example, we will hold focus groups, a public survey and targeted meetings with key stakeholders including iwi and Māori, Pacific people, disabled people, migrants and refugees, service providers, advocates, organisations, institutions and experts.
We will report to Government by 28 February 2019.
More information will be made available here as soon as details are finalised.
